These two keep meeting up and fighting, unwilling to admit they’re falling in love. Maybe it ends in a duel and they just can’t do it? Maybe one concedes to make the other happy, but the other figures out “I’d be happiest with you.”

Plant Mage whose feelings make things grow/Love interest & Mage's familiar who ships it

I LOVE the idea of feelings impacting magic - especially that can make things grow. /sigh.  I’d love an F/F or M/M here, of the plant mage not understanding that whenever their LI is around, things grow more beautiful. And the familiar (open to any familiar here) that keeps trying to push them together.
