Fluffity Fluff 2022 Exchange Letter

Please note that I am very easy to please - generally as long as you stay away from my DNW, I'll enjoy whatever you write. I enjoy experimental fic or art, basically whatever your muse compels you to create for me. I also don’t care what the length is - write me 1001 words or 35k, I’ll read them all. I do have my AO3 preferences updated to be able to receive gifts outside of exchange assignments.
Though you'll see prompts here, please don't feel caged in by them - while I'd love to see you take inspiration from them, if you have something in your brain that is outside of those prompts, go for it.

Tropes I Like:
A/B/O - I generally enjoy A/B/O, usually when there is an emphasis on the courtship phase of it. I don’t have many preferences around who is Alpha/Beta/Omega, but I do want there to be consent and enjoyment between the pairs as they get together. IE no forced mating, etc.
Fake Dating - Nnnnggghh. Be it for a mission or to impress a relative or to get a ticket to an exclusive event where you have to be with someone - I’m down. Give me all the awkward first kisses that turn out way better than you thought it would. This trope also goes amazingly well with ‘Only One Bed.’
First Time with Partner of Same Gender - I love the idea of Character A not realizing they are into the same gender until Character B came along. Give me all the hesitant, unsure looks and possible flirting, the want to touch but unsure how, and just general confusion about their sexuality and feeling that chemistry they never expected to feel with the same gender.
Sex Pollen - I’m all in on this one. Many of my fandoms have magic or some kind of other worldly element where they can stumble upon a horny spell or plant. Give me that delicious frantic sex, followed by awkwardness and tension until they admit all.
Shop AU - I LOVE shop AU’s. Coffee shops, magic shops, book stores, retail shops - I’m down for it. I’m fine if the gang works at one, or one MC works at the shop and the other is a customer. I would LOVE a Florist/Tattoo Shop AU. GIVE IT TO ME. FEED IT TO MY EYEBALLS.

I love fics where Phil dies in Avengers (and he comes back!), and it makes the two of them realize their feelings. I also LOVE secret husbands, and I would love to see them getting together and getting married. I’d be down for fake dating while on a mission, only one bed, their Avenger friends getting so tired of these two dancing around each other - load me up on the tropes, I’ll never get tired of them.
A few tags I really love from this exchange involve pining and feelings exploding out when not ideal. Like maybe they are on a mission, and Clint is about to do something he feels he has to do to meet the mission parameters, but it may cost him his life - and Phil busts out with “I love you” in the middle of a fight or after we see after much pining & almost dying A (bloody & bruised) comes straight to B & kisses them in public. Also a great opportunity for Hurt/Comfort - Character A wraps Character B gently in their coat - I would LOVE to see Phil wrapping Clint up in his suit coat, for warmth, whatever, and Clint presses his nose into the lapel, loving the smell of Phil wrapped around him.
I’m also a sucker for Bedside Vigils - it can be when Phil is stabbed by Loki, and maybe Clint is by Phil’s bedside or up in the vents keeping an eye on him. Or Clint gets injured, and Phil does his work by his bedside. I’d be fine if this leads to them getting together, or an established relationship.
I am generally really soft for either one of these taking care of the other - like Gentle acts of caretaking, Huddling For Warmth, I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit, Massage, Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare, Wound Tending - I do really love the idea of Clint taking care of Phil, since Phil is so often seen as the caretaker, but I’d love to read about either of them tending to the other.
And as I said in my general likes, I LOVE pet acquisition. It can be Clint getting Lucky, or them getting a cat, a ferret, whatever - an established relationship fic where one of them comes home with a pet would be right up my alley. I LOVE characters falling in love with a pet, especially stoic characters that aren’t prone to soft fluffiness.
For Suit Porn - I’d be down with this going either way for Phil or Clint. I do love Phil in suits (and so does Clint), but I’d also enjoy Clint wearing a suit for reasons, and Phil just goes out of his goddamn mind.
For Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills - of course I’d love the shit out of Clint teaching Phil how to shoot a bow, or Phil working with Clint on his hand-to-hand sparring, or even on how to slip more easily into an undercover identity. But I’d also love this for domestic skills - like Phil teaches Clint how to bake. Clint teaches Phil how to sew, or how to build a shelf or whatever other skills you may HC they have that aren’t used at SHIELD.
James "Bucky" Barnes/Sam Wilson (MCU) - I am so soft for these two. I love how they snark and snipe at each other, and I’d love a fic where that grows into something more. I’m down for some nice sexy frenemy vibes in the Captain America movie area, or feel free to move it forward to the Falcon/Winter Soldier era and have them live together in Louisiana. (I’m from Louisiana, so I’m always down for fics set there, as long as you don’t talk about them going to the bayou every other sentence. Really we don’t hang out at the bayou as often as the TV thinks we do).
The banter and arguing is key for me between these two—I think it would play so well in to 'You're an idiot but I love you', or “I love you” in the middle of a fight—like they fight and snipe until one of them breaks and out come the emooooooooooootions! It would also make for a GREAT after much pining & almost dying A (bloody & bruised) comes straight to B & kisses them in public moment.
I’d love domesticity with these two—settling down and moving in together, pet acquisition (Alpine!) or any kind of pet. In the comics Sam has a cat named Figaro, but don’t feel like you have to stick to that—they can adopt a dog or a gerbil or whatever. I will admit I am very attached to Alpine for Bucky though; I have a comic panel of Bucky on his motorcycle with Alpine in his jacket as my phone background.
Babysitting Sam's nephews, fixing the boat, short stories like that would be greatly loved and appreciated. I also LOVE Sam helping Bucky through his painful past and helping him to find peace—that would play in so well with Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare or Touch-Starved Character gets their hair stroked & gets other kind gentle touches & cuddles. On the other end, Bucky helping Sam come to terms with being Captain America would be a great story—it would play well in to Normally Stoic Character A Is Soft For Character B and Stoic character being weak for the one they love.
For typical trope stuff, feel free to mix and match—Huddling For Warmth, Snowed In, and Wound Tending all work so well together. I’d love a Massage fic where it unexpectedly turns sexual, maybe leading to a First Kiss.
In general I really love care taking. So Bedside Vigils would be amazing for these two, maybe one freaks out during the Morning After and the other talks them down. I’d love any kind of post-mission fic where one takes care of the other, a la I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit.
I don’t know the comics super well, but you can feel free to try to mix in stuff from there, I do not mind. I do enjoy Bucky’s friendship with Clint in the few comics I’ve read.
Yelena Belova/Kate Bishop (MCU) - Hawkeye really turned me on to these two. In case you can’t tell, I kind of love pairings with lots of banter potential. These two clash so wonderfully, and work so well together.
In my head, I see Yelena as being Kate’s bisexual awakening—I’d love Yelena to catch Kate off guard with a kiss or a declaration of love. Or maybe Kate takes care of Yelena (as in Bedside Vigils, I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit, Watching Someone Sleep, Wound Tending, or Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare), and she realizes she has some real-ass feelings for Yelena. I’d also love to see Yelena caring for Kate in this way—I picture the prompt Hurt/Comfort - Character A wraps Character B gently in their coat with Yelena comforting Kate by wrapping one of her big, showy jackets around her.
I’d love established relationship fics for these two—maybe featuring pet acquisition. Maybe Yelena brings home a cat and they have to deal with Lucky trying to eat it. I don’t know if Yelena had a pet in the comics, but I’m down for whatever—she definitely seems like the type to walk around with a pet lizard on her shoulder. Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills or Suit Porn would be great for these two—maybe Kate wears that monochrome black suit and Yelena is all “yes, plz.”
Or maybe the boss never even thought about it, until one night, maybe the assistant gets drunk and flirts a little, and the boss flirts back and wow, he’s way more into this than he thought. This would be a great time for That moment after a long night where the bowtie is loose and the sleeves are rolled up. You can work so many tropes in here - Snowed In, There Was Only One Bed, etc.
You could have the boss be a stoic hard ass that has a soft spot for his assistant - and he doesn’t realize how deep it goes until there’s a fight, maybe over work or maybe over something else, something more personal. I love the idea of the assistant showing the boss a world he never thought he wanted, and the boss realizing how much he needs to be told how good he is, and the assistant is more than willing to let him know.
I’d be fine with this fic set in any timeframe - during BtVS, or after. There’s so many opportunities for tender moments between these two - I’d love any Gentle acts of caretaking, like maybe Buffy gets injured and Faith has to take care of her and it makes them both realize how much they mean to each other. Faith being the one to make Buffy rest (I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit would be lovely, and work so well with Bedside Vigils and Wound Tending. On the other side, Buffy being the caretaker and realizing how much Faith matters would be amazing - maybe they get Snowed In while investigating some demons, and have to Huddling For Warmth, Faith falls asleep, and that leads to Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare and Watching Someone Sleep.
I’d also enjoy soft moments between these two in an established relationship - maybe Bathing/Washing together after a tough fight, pet acquisition, or Flirting Under Fire. Conversations about their feelings (maybe Angel shows up in town and that freaks Faith out), moving in together - any soft moments for these two to just be soft together and not having to fight would be amazing.
I would really enjoy if a roomie brings home a pet (that I’m sure the dorm does not allow), and even more if it was, somehow, Leighton. Maybe she falls in love with an asshole cat that hates everyone else but loves her, and she manages to get Kimberly to take care of the litter box and feeding the cat for her.
A fic where Bela gets everyone out to another party would be fun - another naked party, a toga party, a strip game party (featuring strip poker, strip Risk, strip Clue, strip Monopoly), and how that evening goes for them. Maybe they all win the games, walk home with all the clothes they’ve won, and then fall asleep after (bed sharing doesn’t have to include ALL of the characters; those dorm beds are small!). Anything featuring any grouping of these four hanging out and having a good time works for me!
I’d love to see Roy deal with feelings for Jamie, and also how he deals with sharing a bed with Jamie and Keeley. For Jamie, him learning how to accept love and a healthy, unconventional relationship. And I’d also love to see Keeley die over having both of these men in her bed. I mean, come on, girls got all the luck.
I mainly see Keeley as the bridge bringing these two together. I don’t see Roy and Jamie being together without her, and I love Keeley as the woman in charge of the relationship, calling the shots, and Jamie and Roy are so okay with that.
Any slice of life fics would be great here - pet acquisition would be great, especially if somehow it’s Roy that gets suckered in by a bedraggled, ugly ass dog somehow. Or maybe Roy gets sick, he’s a total brat, and Jamie and Keely take care of him. Or just fun sexy times between the three, complete with a lazy morning together the next day.
I’d love a fic where Jaskier gets injured, and Geralt stays by his side (Bedside Vigils and Stoic character being weak for the one they love, Normally Stoic Character A Is Soft For Character B), leading Jaskier to ask why? Why are you so worried, Geralt? And maybe after Jaskier recovers, Geralt teaches him how to better protect himself (Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills - also on this trope, I would love to see Jaskier try to teach Geralt how to play the lute.)
Any instance of Jaskier taking care of Geralt would be welcomed - I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit, Wound Tending, or Massage after an intense battle would be amazing. I’m such a sap for stoic, hardened characters getting weak for another character, so anything you write where Geralt melts for Jaskiet will be perfect. I’d love any kind of post-mission fic where one takes care of the other, a la I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit.
I don’t know the comics super well, but you can feel free to try to mix in stuff from there, I do not mind. I do enjoy Bucky’s friendship with Clint in the few comics I’ve read.
Yelena Belova/Kate Bishop (MCU) - Hawkeye really turned me on to these two. In case you can’t tell, I kind of love pairings with lots of banter potential. These two clash so wonderfully, and work so well together.
In my head, I see Yelena as being Kate’s bisexual awakening—I’d love Yelena to catch Kate off guard with a kiss or a declaration of love. Or maybe Kate takes care of Yelena (as in Bedside Vigils, I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit, Watching Someone Sleep, Wound Tending, or Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare), and she realizes she has some real-ass feelings for Yelena. I’d also love to see Yelena caring for Kate in this way—I picture the prompt Hurt/Comfort - Character A wraps Character B gently in their coat with Yelena comforting Kate by wrapping one of her big, showy jackets around her.
I’d love established relationship fics for these two—maybe featuring pet acquisition. Maybe Yelena brings home a cat and they have to deal with Lucky trying to eat it. I don’t know if Yelena had a pet in the comics, but I’m down for whatever—she definitely seems like the type to walk around with a pet lizard on her shoulder. Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills or Suit Porn would be great for these two—maybe Kate wears that monochrome black suit and Yelena is all “yes, plz.”

Straight boss/Secretly pining assistant (M/M) - I’m a sucker for power dynamics, AND for someone realizing they aren’t as straight as they thought. What kind of business is this? You can feel free to do a shop AU - I put flower shop in there, but I’m down for anything - accounts, bakers, tattoo artists, data analysts, secret service agents, software developers, teachers, etc. I imagine the assistant has been pining for at least a year, and maybe the straight boss has been in denial - he doesn’t like men, and he would never with an employee!Or maybe the boss never even thought about it, until one night, maybe the assistant gets drunk and flirts a little, and the boss flirts back and wow, he’s way more into this than he thought. This would be a great time for That moment after a long night where the bowtie is loose and the sleeves are rolled up. You can work so many tropes in here - Snowed In, There Was Only One Bed, etc.
You could have the boss be a stoic hard ass that has a soft spot for his assistant - and he doesn’t realize how deep it goes until there’s a fight, maybe over work or maybe over something else, something more personal. I love the idea of the assistant showing the boss a world he never thought he wanted, and the boss realizing how much he needs to be told how good he is, and the assistant is more than willing to let him know.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Faith Lehane/Buffy Summers (BtVS) - BtVS has been my long-time favorite show, and I love the possibilities between Buffy and Faith. The frenemies vibes, the chemistry, the banter between both - so good! I usually picture Faith as hopelessly in love with Buffy and Buffy as in denial/not realizing her feelings for Faith until it’s shoved in her face - maybe Faith getting injured, or they’re in a huge fight about Faith just blurts out that she loves Buffy. Cue lots of freaking out.I’d be fine with this fic set in any timeframe - during BtVS, or after. There’s so many opportunities for tender moments between these two - I’d love any Gentle acts of caretaking, like maybe Buffy gets injured and Faith has to take care of her and it makes them both realize how much they mean to each other. Faith being the one to make Buffy rest (I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit would be lovely, and work so well with Bedside Vigils and Wound Tending. On the other side, Buffy being the caretaker and realizing how much Faith matters would be amazing - maybe they get Snowed In while investigating some demons, and have to Huddling For Warmth, Faith falls asleep, and that leads to Sharing a Bed - For Comfort After a Nightmare and Watching Someone Sleep.
I’d also enjoy soft moments between these two in an established relationship - maybe Bathing/Washing together after a tough fight, pet acquisition, or Flirting Under Fire. Conversations about their feelings (maybe Angel shows up in town and that freaks Faith out), moving in together - any soft moments for these two to just be soft together and not having to fight would be amazing.
The Sex Lives of College Girls (US TV 2021)
Bela Malholtra & Kimberly Finkle & Leighton Murray & Whitney Chase (TSOCG) - I loved this series, and the friendship between the main four. I think Leighton might be my favorite - she’s so prickly but she can’t help liking/confiding in her roomies. I’d love to see just some hangouts with the group - maybe Kimberly decides she wants to do a potluck, where everyone makes a dish (Leighton of course, orders hers in), and the chaos that would come from doing that with this group. Or maybe post S1, where they band together to help Kimberly raise some money/fill out her student loan apps so she can stay at school. Or, if we wanna get really serious, Leighton comes out to the rest of the roomies.I would really enjoy if a roomie brings home a pet (that I’m sure the dorm does not allow), and even more if it was, somehow, Leighton. Maybe she falls in love with an asshole cat that hates everyone else but loves her, and she manages to get Kimberly to take care of the litter box and feeding the cat for her.
A fic where Bela gets everyone out to another party would be fun - another naked party, a toga party, a strip game party (featuring strip poker, strip Risk, strip Clue, strip Monopoly), and how that evening goes for them. Maybe they all win the games, walk home with all the clothes they’ve won, and then fall asleep after (bed sharing doesn’t have to include ALL of the characters; those dorm beds are small!). Anything featuring any grouping of these four hanging out and having a good time works for me!
Ted Lasso
Keeley Jones/Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt (Ted Lasso TV) - I love all three of these characters - Roy Keny is my favorite (I love his anger, his snark, and his devotion to Keeley), but I also love Jamie’s heart as he tries to figure out what he wants (and how to not be a douchebag), and what a strong, powerful woman Keeley is.I’d love to see Roy deal with feelings for Jamie, and also how he deals with sharing a bed with Jamie and Keeley. For Jamie, him learning how to accept love and a healthy, unconventional relationship. And I’d also love to see Keeley die over having both of these men in her bed. I mean, come on, girls got all the luck.
I mainly see Keeley as the bridge bringing these two together. I don’t see Roy and Jamie being together without her, and I love Keeley as the woman in charge of the relationship, calling the shots, and Jamie and Roy are so okay with that.
Any slice of life fics would be great here - pet acquisition would be great, especially if somehow it’s Roy that gets suckered in by a bedraggled, ugly ass dog somehow. Or maybe Roy gets sick, he’s a total brat, and Jamie and Keely take care of him. Or just fun sexy times between the three, complete with a lazy morning together the next day.
The Witcher
Geralt z Rivii | Geralt of Rivia/Jaskier | Dandelion (The Witcher) - Another grumpy/cheerful pair that I would lay down my life for. If you can’t tell by now, I really love a cheerful soul getting themselves ingrained in the heart of a grumpy soul without either one realizing it. I’d love road trip fics or art, these two questing and destroying monsters together, and quiet times at the inn or next to a fire.I’d love a fic where Jaskier gets injured, and Geralt stays by his side (Bedside Vigils and Stoic character being weak for the one they love, Normally Stoic Character A Is Soft For Character B), leading Jaskier to ask why? Why are you so worried, Geralt? And maybe after Jaskier recovers, Geralt teaches him how to better protect himself (Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills - also on this trope, I would love to see Jaskier try to teach Geralt how to play the lute.)
Any instance of Jaskier taking care of Geralt would be welcomed - I will feed you and bathe you and then make you sleep; damnit, Wound Tending, or Massage after an intense battle would be amazing. I’m such a sap for stoic, hardened characters getting weak for another character, so anything you write where Geralt melts for Jaskiet will be perfect. I had a ton of tags listed for this one, so go wild. I’ll plug after much pining & almost dying A (bloody & bruised) comes straight to B & kisses them in public as being a brilliant freeform for a post-battle fic for these two!!
