My favorite of these pairings is definitely Queliot - Quentin/Eliot. However I would be very happy with any of the ones on this list. Penny being an annoying ass cat that keeps shitting in Quentin’s bed and knocking over all his stuff would be AMAZING.

Also, feel free to set this in Fillory and play with their talking animals/magic tropes. The world is wide open; give them a magical soulmate-making cat, or a cat that gives them relationship advice, or them having lots of sex in front of cat without knowing the cat can talk.

I’m also down for AU’s – non-magic or the like, where a Q/El are brought together by a cat in some way.

I would be happy with any of the tags selected to be used in the work; below are the ones that particularly stick out to me as a certain pairing.

Badass Cat Protects Character – this would be lovely for Q/El’s new cat to protect Margo and she immediately falls in love with it.

For either of these pairings, I’m down for any/all of the generic cat tags I selected, as well as most any others that I didn’t have room for. I love the cat forcing itself onto any of these characters and making them love it. And the flerken prompts would be amazing. And I would love a world where Phil and Clint have Lucky, and Lucky immediately loves the cat.

Used to be the character's chair but now it belongs to the cat – Phil’s office chair. Clint’s favorite recliner in the living room. Especially if Natasha takes it and glares.

I love these two so much, and tossing in Melog is just the best. I would basically love any of the tags I picked for this ship, especially the ones that amplify how irritable Catra can be. Feel free to assign her any of the typical cat behaviors, like knocking shit over because she’s petty. But also I’d love to see more of them hanging out with Melog and getting to know them better.

Searching for a Lost Cat – Adora/Catra searching for Melog. Feel free to bring the whole group into it, because they all love Melog too.

Apartment Neighbor/Apartment Neighbor & The Cat They Both Think They Own – Full disclosure, I nominated this because I love it so much. I am a fan of M/M but would be okay with whatever the writer is comfortable writing. You can work in many of the tags – adopting a cat, accidental cat acquisition, etc. I Maybe the neighbors don’t really like each other until they’re both trying to take sick kitty to the vet, and once they see how much other loves the cat (and how much other things they have in common), love blooms.

Apprentice That Accidently Turned Mentor Into A Cat/Mentor That Accidently Got Turned Into A Cat – Ah, the hilarity potential. I am a fan of M/M but would be okay with whatever the writer is comfortable writing. Maybe the apprentice finds it easier to talk to the mentor as a cat. Or maybe there is kitty cuddle time, and the when the mentor is turned back into a human, the mentor finds they miss it more than the expected. Or maybe the apprentice talks in their sleep, and confesses their love while Mentor!Cat can hear it all! I also love the Mentor being so mad they are a cat, they keep doing asshole cat things, like shoving the Apprentice’s favorite items onto the floor.

Bookstore Owner Who Thinks They've Adopted A Stray Cat & Freeloading Cat Shifter Who Likes To Read – I would be delighted to read about the Shop Owner that grudgingly feeds and starts to love the stray cat, and wondering why they find the cat randomly sprawled over a book, as if they were reading it. And when the Owner finds out the cat is actually a shifter – so much fun. This is a friendship prompt; I would be fine if romance were mixed in as well.

Clueless Knight/Pining Mage & The Cat – Another one I nominated. I just love the idea of this mage hopelessly pining over a valiant (not maybe not-so-valiant) knight. Maybe the Mage constantly talks to their cat about the Knight, to the point where the cat has to do something about it. This would be a great one for the tag “Alternate Universe - Everything Is The Same Except Cats Are Magical And Everyone Knows It.”

Experienced Vet/Nervous New Pet Owner & The Cat – I nominated this one. Maybe the vet and pet owner have an instant connection, but the Pet Owner is too busy worrying about their cat to notice at first? Maybe the vet is grumpy and jaded, but the nerves from the Pet Owner enchant them in some way? Maybe the Pet Owner is bringing in for crazy shit, like “My Cat Is An Asshole” or “The Cat Is Not Impressed by my Singing.”

Flower Shop Owner/Tattoo Artist & The Cat Lives At Both Of Their Shops – The last one I nominated! I LOVE Shop AUs, and having the Flower Shop and Tattoo Parlor be next door to each other and they share a cat would be lovely! They can have an established relationship or this could be about them getting together. The tag “Alternate Universe - Everything Is The Same Except Cats Are Magical And Everyone Knows It” would be great here – maybe the cat brings together soulmates! You could also go crazy with a magic AU, such as having the flower shop sell pretty bouquets and magic herbs, and maybe the tattoo parlor does mundane and magical tats (like tattoos to enhance your eyesight, let you breathe underwater, or ones that change color, flicker, etc).

Person allergic to cat's fur/Person with a cat & Cat (ow) – Great time to work in the tags “White Cat Automatically Knows Which Partner Likes Cat Least and Sits On His Black Clothes” and anything with an asshole cat. I love the idea of the allergic person doing whatever they can to try to get over the allergy b/c they love the Cat Owner that much. And maybe they like the cat too. :D

Student at Magic School & New Cat Familiar – I LOVE Magic AUs, and you can go crazy here! Maybe it’s like a school from the Magicians, where there are small dorms with their own houses, and each student has their own familiar. Maybe the student hates cats and the cat familiar chooses them anyway and they have to deal with it. Maybe the Cat Familiar is an asshole and the Student has to figure out how to make it work. Maybe the student uses catnip to try to win over said cat. :D

Bonnie Bennett & Cat!Damon Salvatore, Stefan Salvatore & Cat!Damon Salvatore – I would love to see Damon turned into a cat. With magic in this universe, maybe an enemy curses him, or maybe one of Bonnie’s spells goes wrong. I could see Bonnie and Stefan (and basically everyone) enjoying this so much. Especially since Damon would be cute and he would be so mad that’s he a cat; he would totally be an asshole cat that acts like a jerk. He’d shed all over anyone’s clothes, knock shit over, steal their chairs, do whatever he wants. And I would love to see that when he gets transformed back into a human, he still has that cat instinct – bathing in sunbeams, knocking shit over for no reason, nuzzling other ppl. Fantastic comedic potential.

Damon Salvatore & Cat!Bonnie Bennett – I would love to see Bonnie turned into a cat, either from a curse from someone else (probably not meant for her, but she got in the way of), or one of her spells goes wrong. Damon has to care for her, and his grumpy demeanor is stripped away when he has a cute little Bonnie fluffball in front of him. I could see her being a jerk cat b/c he’s Damon, and shedding all over his clothes. I could even see Damon giving her catnip to get her to relax.

Elijah Mikaelson & Caroline Forbes & Cat!Klaus Mikaelson, Caroline Forbes & Cat!Klaus Mikaelson – Klaus would never live down being turned into a cat. Especially if he’s a weak run cat/kitten that tries to puff up his chest and be aggressive, but he’s just not. Again, total asshole cat, that sheds all over Elijah’s suits. I can totally see Caroline and Elijah giving him some catnip to get him to shut the fuck up and stop fighting all the other cats in the neighborhood.

Caroline Forbes/Klaus Mikaelson & Cat, Bonnie Bennett/Damon Salvatore & Cat – Both of these pairings have somewhat gruff men, and feisty women. I’d love to see someone on each pairing instantly fall in love with the cat while the other takes a while to come around. And in this universe, with magic and other dimensions, you can totally make it a magic cat. Maybe it’s a cat that brings soulmates together, maybe it can talk and won’t tell them until it’s ready. Also, since we know there is an Other Side, is a good time to use the tag “Ghost cat leads person to abandoned kittens”

My only knowledge of these characters comes from the MCU movies (so therefore I have zero knowledge on Alpine). I have seen pictures of Alpine, including one where Bucky is riding a motorcycle with Alpine in his jacket SO IF YOU CAN SOMEHOW WORK THAT IN A FIC IT WOULD BE AMAZING.

So while I have no knowledge of 616, feel free to do whatever you like. I love Bucky and Sam and any story of them (or Bucky alone) adopting Alpine or being adopted by Alpine or any of the tags I’ve selected will make me happy. For Bucky/Sam, I would love to see a cat emergency interrupting their first date. And shedding all over their black clothes. :D
